Biography: Thierry Lubin received an M.S. degree in electrical engineering from the University Pierre et Marie Curie, Paris, France, in 1994, and a Ph.D. degree from the University of Lorraine, Nancy, France, in 2003. He is currently an Associate Professor of Electrical Engineering with the “Groupe de Recherche en Energie Electrique de Nancy”, GREEN, Nancy, France. His research interests include analytical modeling, design, and control of electrical machines, and the use of superconductors in electromechanical devices.
