Biography: Matthieu Urbain received an Engineering degree in power electronics from the National Electrical and Mechanical Engineering School, Nancy, France, in 2005, and a Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the National Polytechnic Institute of Lorraine, Vandoeuvre-Lès-Nancy, France, in 2009.,From 2008 to 2012, he was a Research and Development Engineer with GE Power Conversion, Belfort, France, where he was engaged in research on power electronics. Since 2012, he has been an Assistant Professor with the Université de Lorraine, Vandoeuvre-lès-Nancy. His current research interests include power semiconductor devices and microgrids.
