Biography: Piyabut Burikham received the B.Sc. degree in physics from the University of Tokyo, Tokyo, Japan, in 1996, the Certificate of Advanced Study in mathematics in theoretical physics from the University of Cambridge, Cambridge, U.K., in 1997, and the Ph.D. degree in high energy particle physics theory from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, Madison, WI, USA, in 2005. From 1997 to 2000, he was a Lecturer with Mahidol University, Salaya, Thailand. Since 2007, he has been a Staff Member and later an Associate Professor with the Department of Physics, Faculty of Science, Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand. His research interests include theoretical physics, mathematical physics, and applications of physics in other disciplines. (Based on document published on 12 January 2021).
